Creativity Boot Camp - Day 9

"Drizzle"

It rarely rains in here in the Arizona desert but we love when it does. This rain is completely staged and has me wishing for a break from the heat. The second half of the assignment was to think about the kind of art you loved to do when you were younger. This was not difficult at all because I'm around crayons and glue everyday, but today I put down "my" tools and played paper dolls with Ava.

She actually did all the designing and cutting but I sat next to her and gave her my full attention. The closet she made looks exactly like something I would have made at her age. I would sit for hours and just make stuff out of paper. I've said this before but she really is just like me in so many ways.

"Okay mom, put the camera down"

I've been looking forward to getting caught up with your posts after the weekend! I love the fall colors of the yarn pom pom string. Too bad we don't really have a fall here in Tucson. ha ha ha :) My daughter is crafty too. But I believe she is so much more artistic that I.
