My Favorite Knit Hat

I like having no plans in January.  After the holidays all I want to do is curl up on the couch and watch a movie.  And if I'm watching a movie I must have knitting in my lap.  This January I became a little obsessed with this Lace-Leaf Hat pattern by Sophy Ting.

I made one for both of the girls and one for a little family friend.  After the third hat I was on a roll so I decided to make one for the girls to give their teachers for Valentines Day.  Erin has two teachers so that meant three more hats.  The dark grey and mustard yellow were wrapped up and out the door before I could take a picture.

How many is that?  Six?

I want to make one for me but I think I need a new pattern because I'm not sure I want us to leave the house all in matching hats.  There are so many cute hats on Ravelry that it won't be hard to find one.

Ava's teacher really loved her hat.  She mentioned that her 18 month old kept trying to swipe it from her so I had to whip up him one of his own.

I love that we now live in a place where all this knitting can go to good use.

Oh wow. I'm a little late to discovering this post! It's so wonderful to see your awesome finished lace leaf hats--and six of them? I'm really pleased that you like the design. it was also one of my favorite projects to knit and write down. I'm so glad that it's still being knit! :D
