My Mountain Man

Tonight, as I was walking to pick up Erin from Girl Scouts, I saw an elderly couple walking down the street holding hands.  Life does not get any better than that.  It made me think about my life forty years from now and there is nothing I want more.

I also realized that, right now, I am living my happily ever after.

We have been together more years than we have been apart (21!).  He is my life and I can't begin to imagine what I would do without him.

Enough of all that mushy stuff let me show you one of the reasons why I love him.

Jeff loves the outdoors.  He rides his mountain bike every weekend and goes on cool trips to places like Moab and Park City.

When he returned from his biking adventure guess what he brought us?  Erin got gem stones, Ava got dinosaur fossils and I got a bottle of whiskey.  How awesome is that!

I love him.  That is all I wanted to say.  No happy birthday.  No happy anniversary.  Just that I'm lucky to have someone I love to hold my hand.

What a great post! You guys are so blessed to have each other. As Matt would say: "This makes my heart happy."
