Yes, it is cookie decorating but...
...did you guess it was for our Pink and Purple Polka Dot Pajama Pizza Party?
This is our own made up celebration. No occasion, other than just wanting to throw ourselves a party. We had our first one last February (here) and the girls wanted to do it again. This time I decided that the cookies should be pink and purple too. Who knows we might even make decorations for the next one.
So tonight we eat pizza and cookies and watch a movie together all sprawled out on the living room floor. I think this might be one of my favorite family traditions. No presents or commercial expectations, just the celebration of spending time together. It is so easy and the girls love it.
