Kids Clothes Week Challenge starts today! Yea, just the motivation I needed to get back to my sewing
machine. I did buy a few yards of fabric but I plan on doing most of my sewing from my stash or recycling from other items.
Today was just a simple dress for Ava. I have used this pattern before (
here) and (
here) but this time I added a few inches to the bottom. I actually followed the directions for the interfacing because the clothes I'm making really seem to get worn and washed quite a bit. I happen to love this fabric but when you are sewing for someone else you never know how the final outcome will be
received.
The verdict was a big grin and a thumbs up.
