I ended up stacking the sewing in the closet and tucking my knitting away but I could not get the idea of banana bread out of my brain. My recipe makes two loaves so I decided to bake one for us and one for a friend. Then, while folding the laundry, I was thinking what could be better than warm banana bread? ... vanilla ice cream!
I got an ice cream maker as a gift for my birthday and the test run with fresh strawberries could not have been more delicious. It takes no time at all so I completed another homemade project with crowd pleasing results. We ended the day full and relaxed. Ahhhh.
