My Fall Sweater

Yeah! I finally finished my first adult sized sweater. I used the Hourglass Sweater pattern found here. It took me just under two months. Although it's technically fall I could probably get another one done before the weather gets cold enough to wear them. I've been tracking my progress on Ravelry. It is such a great site to record projects, notes and check out what others are making.

Books on tape I listened to while making this:
The Friday Night Knitting Club - Kate Jacobs
The Great Gatsby - F. Scott Fitzgerald
The Poisonwood Bible - Barbara Kingsolver

That sweater turned out great!!!!!! I love the color yarn you chose. I'm going to get the book out of the library and start on one!

Thanks Jessica. You can look at my notes on Ravelry (lkurtin) to see the small changes I made.
Did you finish your blue sweater?

Congrats on the Soule Mama blog picture. So great!

It turned out GREAT! I love it! How did you like the Poisonwood Bible? That's the one about the family in Africa, right? I recall really liking it. Hope you did, too. Congratulations on the sweater!
