This little hand-me-down use to be mine. My mom made it for me when I was Erin's age and it was my all time favorite dress. I think the twirl factor had something to do with it.

This morning Erin tried it on and her eyes lit up when she looked in the mirror. A "new" dress, in blue gingham with ric rac and it was made by Nana. A dress cannot get any better than that. She fell in love with it just as I did 30 years ago. My mom made a lot of my clothes when I was little but there was just something about this dress that I could not let go of. I think the dress new better than I that it's twirling days were not over.
