Two Left Feet

I tried to be careful and think this one out but somehow I ended up with two left feet. I must not have had my coffee yet. I learn something with every project and have just come to expect...complications.
Happily everything worked out. These little shoes and kimono are on their way to Phoenix to welcome a friend's new baby boy. I added a few inches to the kimono pattern so he could wear it in 6 months. I doubt he is wearing much but a diaper this summer.
